1st Team Manager
Role Summary:
Lillington Juniors Football Club has an exciting opportunity for the appropriate person to be an integral part of the future growth of the Club. Currently playing in the Leamington & District Sunday League (Division 2), with plans of adding a Saturday afternoon team from the 2021/22 season, this role will provide an excellent opportunity to work within a forwarding-thinking club with excellent support. With our eldest junior age group at U17s from the 2020/21 season, this is an ideal opportunity to give a pathway for our junior players while also developing, and adding to, the current squad in order to follow the club's playing philosophy.
What You Will Do:
Manage all on and off field football activities for the 1st Team.
Recruit your own coaching staff and other non-playing staff.
Ensure that all players and staff are provided with coaching and support to enable them to compete and perform at their fullest potential.
Ensure we have a competitive squad of players with a desire to succeed by creating a winning mentality.
Develop further, and co-ordinate, the ‘Player Development’ plan to assist with player progress.
Interact with the "Development Phase Lead Coach" and the Club's "Head Coach" to ensure appropriate development and integration of junior players within the Club making the step up to the 1st Team.
Ensure the Club's policies and standards are adhered to at all times.
What You Will Have:
A proven track record as a football manager, delivering strong performances and results through outstanding leadership.
A proven ability to identify, recruit and develop talent.
A proven ability to successfully analyse team and player performance.
An FA qualification (ideally).
